“What an honor to work in a David Adler home from the early 1900’s. Our mantra of respecting the past, honoring the present, and always keeping an eye on the future served us well in our dining room show house space.”
Donna Mondi Interior Design was invited to participate in the 2022 showhouse featuring a David Adler 1915 iconic home on Chicago’s lakefront. Our dining room design epitomizes all that we stand for and gave us the perfect opportunity to showcase our signature style of blending classicism with modernity. Original plaster moldings were highlighted with a high-gloss hue of deep sage. Custom furniture designed by DMID includes our Carolina dining chairs, a marble pedestal table in partnership with Material Bespoke Stone + Tile, and even the candle holders were created for this special project.
